Normally during weekends I get up late in the morning and have a heavy breakfast. Then I meditate and go to temple. It may cost about Rs.1000.Now it is the turn for my daughters and I will spend Rs.5000 to buy some valuable gifts for them. Then Rs.5000 will be given to help the needy in the Cancer Care Center in my home-town. Now I will spare about Rs.4000 for my husband to get a new pair of spectacles for him. We have a lottery scheme in my state which is meant for the well-being of mentally retarded people. I will spend Rs.5000 for purchasing 100 tickets and thereby I am trying my luck also. If I win a prize of any category, I can make use of that money for fulfilling my future dreams.

Amidst all kinds of sorrows, my daughters' faces give me hope for a better day. When I entered my family life, I too had to face so many problems as any other woman. New faces, new customs, new traditions, new habits, altogether everything new. Since I was conditioned to be a submissive woman by my parents, I could manage to be a good wife. On rare occasions I feared my life was going out of my hands. But when my first daughter came, I felt my life has become meaningful. Come what may, I have to live for my child. One innocent is life is left in my hands and I have to handle with care. The foundation for a good personality is paved by one's mother, I believe. My child became my first priority and thus nothing else happens to bother me anymore. I did not get any time to brood over my personal problems. I began to dream about my child and curiously watched her each and every movement. I got another baby when my first child was five years old, and that again made more busy and responsible. In between I had no time to ponder on my issues. Thus until now my children keep me going and going with life.
